...Yeah, I'm actually translating Chaucer into idiomatic modern English right now, but somehow this helps.
I still have no userpics uploaded to Dreamwidth and it is because I have like 3000, I don't know how to look through them anymore.

May. 5th, 2009 11:30 amSo I got this email this morning.
Good morning [Pyrae],
I'm writing to let you know that your access to the Carleton network has been suspended temporarily following an RIAA Infringement Notification we received yesterday.
I've attached the notification to this email, but it essentially says that the RIAA have detected that your machine is sharing the songs listed below via the BitTorrent file sharing network:
[redacted out of SHAME]
Having received the notification, Carleton is obliged to block access to the shared recording(s) until such time as we can confirm that the issue is resolved. Just for clarification, the important part of this notice is that the sound recordings are being shared - the issue of legitimate ownership is not being addressed.
In order to regain access to the Carleton network I need to receive notice from you via email stating clearly that you have taken steps to prevent these recordings from being shared.
I would suggest uninstalling the BitTorrent software or alternatively removing these and other copyrighted materials from BitTorrent's shared space or from your machine entirely.
If you have any questions or would like further clarification, please feel free to contact me. Also, please refer to the Student Computing knowledge base article on File Sharing for more information on this issue in general:

Apr. 28th, 2009 05:17 pmThis is pyrae from LJ. Fuck me if I'm going to try moving all my entries and comments over here; I really don't recall much of it being worth that effort.
I just used the console to add over as much of my friends list as has the same name, and a couple people whose name-changes I had made note of and remembered. Uhh, anyone who made a username with capital letters, apparently the console doesn't like that, and I probably won't realize for a while that you didn't get added when you should have. *shrugs?* Yeah. God, I'm tired.
